This short documentary on fake history was created as an assignment for my Historical Documentary class during my senior year of college.​

PLOT SUMMARY​

Meghan Fletcher was the most talented member of the girls distance team at the University of Hartford in 2010. A senior in her last season, she was five seconds away from breaking the school record in the 5k. Meghan was so confident in her ability to break that record the very next time she tried. Days before the last meet of the season, she died, before she was able to break the record, which she’d obsessed over her whole running career.

 

Since then, locker #390 in the girls XC locker room, the locker that belonged to Meghan during her time on the team, has been cursed. The team believes it’s Meghan’s spirit sabotaging them to make sure no one else can break the record that she felt was hers for the taking.
