MY STORY

The creative freedom that comes with storytelling inspires me. I am fascinated by the concept of taking an idea, a character, a place that exists only in my head, and developing it into a story for the world to see.

I’ve been making movies and short films since I was a little kid dreaming of working in the film industry. Now, I strive to turn that dream into a reality. I am a Cinema and Digital Media and Journalism double major at the University of Hartford with a special interest in video editing.

When I was thirteen-years-old, I made my first feature-length film with a runtime of 75 minutes. Using my friends (and myself) as actors, I filmed the entire movie on my iPad and GoPro camera and edited it with iMovie. Although I didn’t know much about filmmaking back then, this experience opened my eyes to my passion and convinced me that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Since then, my passion for filmmaking has only grown stronger. Over the course of high school, I continued to make short films and get as much exposure as possible. I attended three high school summer programs through the New York Film Academy, Envision's National Youth Leadership Forum for Digital Media, Film, and Journalism, and Maine Media Workshops and College. Through these programs, I greatly expanded my skills as a filmmaker. Now a college student, I’m as motivated as ever to create videos that will leave a lasting impact on audiences.

On this site, you can find the projects I’ve made, from short films, to documentaries, to features. I am very excited to show the world what I can do.
