BEHIND THE SCENES
During the summer of 2021, I worked as a media/editing intern for the sports division of Universal Phoenix Group (UPG). UPG works closely with Isaiah Miller, who was drafted into the NBA in 2021 by the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing college basketball at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG).
One of my assigned projects was to make a trailer to document Isaiah's path to the NBA draft as an underdog player, which would be released shortly before the draft in July of 2021 to hype Isaiah up.
For this project, I edited footage shot by UPG CEO Jerone Dodd during a business trip to Las Vegas with Isaiah. In addition, I was called upon to add a soundscape to the "Crossover Exposure" intro (I created two different ones, which are featured below), as well as another soundscape for the animated Isaiah Miller intro that would both play at the beginning of my Underdog Trailer.

The Isaiah Miller animation and the "Crossover Exposure" intro were each created by animation interns in the UPG summer program.
